Kristi's Klimbers Foundation focuses on helping cancer patients, cancer survivors and others in need of support.

We provide recovery care items (mastectomy bras, head coverings, radiation robes, etc) free mammograms and other support to cancer patients.
​
Kristi loves nature and is an active hiker and is asking fellow nature lovers, and those who have also been impacted by cancer to help support this cause.
​
We will be hosting fundraising hiking and running events in the near future.
Klimb for a Cause
This event will support free 3D mammograms for uninsured women.

Free 3-D Mammograms
Kristi’s Klimbers Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the cancer community in the West Valley, has teamed up with eight community health clinics in Arizona to proactively identify uninsured women who are overdue for their mammogram screening.
Mastectomy Bra Giveaway
Thanks to our mastectomy bra sponsors, we plan to give away over 80 mastectomy bras to breast cancer survivors. Our goal is to make the day a little brighter for a woman in need of a mastectomy bra when they receive this gift from us and to let them know we are thinking about them.

2024 Events
On behalf of Kristis Klimbers Foundation and its Board of Directors and Officers, I would like to say thank you to all of our supporters this year!
​
We are an all volunteer 501c3 non profit and an AZ Qualified Charitable Organization.
​
Our mission is to advocate for early detection of all cancers and to provide recovery wear items to cancer patients to allow them to lead active and healthy lives. We also provide financial and other assistance to cancer patients.
​
We focused our support this year on low income areas in Phoenix. We partnered with “The Links Incorporated” in March to provide free mammograms to uninsured women who attended the Black Family Wellness Expo, and supported free mammograms to participants at the Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence event with “A Permanent Voice”. We also continued to support mammograms all year through referrals from our community health partners.

Thanks to our mastectomy bra sponsors, we continued to provide free recovery wear items to women who have had breast surgery, and partnered with “Stelter Stitches” to provide crafts and chemo port pillows to patients undergoing treatment.
​
I would like to thank our volunteer Board of Directors and Officers for their ongoing support and to all of our sponsors.
​
I am also truly humbled by the gratitude of all of our beneficiaries.

In 2025, we will continue to honor our mission of supporting the needs of the cancer community.

3D Mammogram Event
November 12, 2022
It was a beautiful day to host an onsite mammography event on November 12 with SimonMed at the Peoria Community Center.
​
We provided a full day of free mammograms to women without insurance who traveled to our event from all over the valley.
Free Mammograms for Uninsured Women
March 30, 2024
Location: South Mountain Community College Wellness Event
We had a great day co-sponsoring free mammogram screenings with The Links Corporation for uninsured women who were attendees at the South Mountain Community College Wellness Event. Solis Mammography did a great job educating attendees on the importance of regular mammogram screenings. Uninsured women scheduled their free mammogram screenings at one of the four Solis Mammography Clinics nearest to them.
